The Moral Conflict 1939 board is the smallest (390 x 800 mm) and offers an easy move up for players already familiar wih the game of Risk. It has been made as simple as possible so that everybody should be easily able to play this game.
Moral Conflcit 1939 uses the new ship sizes.
The convoys and fleets in Moral Conflict 1939 are easy to distinguish from each other. All Moral Conflict games use the same size convoy's, which are the perfect size to transport armies and special resources.
Top to bottom (2 loaded convoys, fleet and empty convoy).
North Atlantic Start Positioning
Neutral Iberia and Scandinavia have their pieces first placed, as they enter the war.
Each player has one or more major powers.
Green is the Empires power (British Empire/ French Empire/Dutch Empire and Belgian Empire). Blue is the USA power and black is the Axis Germany power.
The Moral Conflcit 1939 battle board is very easy to use.
Unlike the other battle boards there are no different sorts of attack values for anti-aircraft, anti - tank or anti-submarine. This greatly simplifies the battles but takes some of the skill away. Using a six sided dice reduces the number of optons.
This game has only four sorts of armed forces (armies, fleets, convoys and aircraft). It makes it quck and easy for players who want to see plenty of action.
The Russian front.
The black Axis Germany pieces are oposed by the red Soviet Union armed forces.
Square pieces are armies, wooden disks are aircraft and the thin white plastic disks are multipier markers.
All armed forces are only in one colour tone in Moral Conflcit 1939, simplifying the technolgy dimension but making it less realistic.
The fleets consist of destroyers, cruisers, battle ships and aircarft carriers. The wooden disk on the long thin fleets, represent the arcraft used on the carriers.
The smal fat ships are convoys loaded with two armies. |
