"Napoleon's Last Campaign, 16-18 June, 1815"
Napoleonic 20 #1
Waterloo 20 is the first title in a series of games featuring low unit density on the map (20 pieces or less), modest complexity and dramatic, fast playing turns. With Napoleon’s escape from exile and return to France, his Grande Armee is once again on the march. Can the Anglo-Allied forces under Wellington and the Prussian army under Blücher stop him?
Veteran designer Joseph Miranda has reduced the complexity and focused the scope of Napoleonic campaigns with his innovative Napoleonic 20 game system. This system provides for interesting operational level maneuvers that set up dramatic battles and cavalry engagements. It also has random event cards and night game turns which provide the “friction of war” that affected both sides greatly during the campaign.
Morale plays an important role on both sides as players can ‘spend’ some to force march their pieces, help rally stragglers, or urge their troops on as they advance in battle. But look out… when a side’s morale is reduced to zero, it has lost the game!

What They're Saying:
- "The game play found in Waterloo 20 is action packed, while not bogging you down in complex rules consuming all your wee hours of the night, while still presenting enough of a challenge to keep you coming back to this classic game." - Jonathan Holen (Boardgame Geek)
- "This game is great fun. Kudos to Joe Miranda and Alan Emrich for bringing us a system that is fun, fast and strategic."
- "Game play is quick and intuitive. There's a fair amount of chrome for a small game, but nothing that's too challenging to remember and none of these features feel tacked on - everything works smoothly. It's an appealing, attractive and enjoyable little game. This will, at least for now, be my 'game on the go' due to it's small size and short game length - perfect for lunch hours and overnight trips."- Mo Caraher (Boardgame Geek)
