Rocky Mountain Rails
Sammlerstück / Rarität
This is an expansion for Rails through the Rockies from designer John C. Lueke, Adventure Games. Inc., 1981.
Railroad game on track construction in Colorado. The emphasis is on finding the fastest and most profitable route from the eastern state to Grand Junction. Money to build is earned by creating a rail network to cities, towns and mines, with the mining being rather abstract(mines open and close as random events). Players must worry about the details of track types, passes and tunnels. I... (vollständige Beschreibung)

Advanced Tracks to Telluride
Sammlerstück / Rarität
Railroad game set in 19th century Colorado features an unusual board construction mechanism, apparently patented: four sheets are joined each at one corner and rotated out to fully display. Crayons are used to draw narrow- and standard-gage track on the hex map. Income is acquired by contracting mines and by first entry into cities. Interaction is provided in the form of lawyers, whose injunctions can stop opponents from blasting their way through difficult mountain passes.

Players between them buy and operate twelve mines. For each of these the purchase price, overheads and actual mining costs are different. Reserves of ore and maximum production for each mine also vary. A neat and simple mechanism varies the price at which the output is sold according to the supply/demand situation. The object is to have the highest final value of cash and un-mined reserves.
