STRATEGO LEGENDS board game begins with the familiar gameplay of the STRATEGO game and expands it into something new. Instead of having only numbers, pieces also have special powers. Some fly; some teleport; some are stronger in marshes or mountains; some have powerful death curses or other powers with long-lasting effects. Armies can be customized to fight better against specific enemies or in certain terrain.
The Forces of Good
The Valorians are a heroic race of knights, wizards, and clerics with complex codes of honor.
The Ancients are the elves, dwarves, and other people of the earth who were the original inhabitants of the Shattered Lands.
The Celestia are beautiful and mysterious people of the winds: angels, spirits, and mythical beasts that embody nature and magic.
The Forces of Evil
The Gargans are a teeming army of beasts, ogres, giants, and titans.
The Manes are supernatural fiends and undead monstrosities led by dragons and necromancers.
The Qa'ans are a rancid race of mutants from beneath the earth that resemble monstrous insects and slimes, allied with warlocks of unknown power.
