The 76mm K/02 gun was a Russian designed gun heavily influenced by the French 75mm model 1897. This gun was designed and made at the Imperial Russian Putilov factory. The 76mm K/02 was the primary field artillery piece in the Russian army during WWI.
Though originally designed to fire direct-fire, it proved capable of indirect-fire as well.

Finnish Light Infantry Platoon and Kapteeni Lauri Törni
The Jääkäri were Finland's elite light infantry. The Jääkäri troops were initially Finnish volunteers served with the Germans, training as Jägers (elite light infantry), during World War One as the Royal Prussian 27th Jäger Battalion. After the Finns had won their independence from Russia in 1918 they ended up with about 600 Maxim machine-guns. They were either the m/1905 (the first Russian production model) or the m/1910 (a slightly lighter improved model) all of course in Russian 7.62 mm x 54R caliber. The BT-42 was developed on the chassis of captured Soviet BT-7 obr 1937 tanks. The standard turret BT-7 was rebuilt to mount the British Q.F. 4.5inch Howitzer Mark II (114mm, Finnish designation 114 Psv.H/18) donated to the Finns during the Winter War. The howitzers additionally were fitted with a Finnish designed muzzle brake.
A total 18 tanks were converted. The BT-42s were issued in the autumn of 1943.

Swedish company Landsverk developed L-62 design during 1941-42 by lengthening the hull of the L-60/m-36 tank (see HU010 Toldi) and mounting the excellent 40mm Bofors anti-aircraft cannon (40 ItK/38). 40mm Bofors gun could fire 120 rounds/minute and had and effective range of 2000 metres. The design was exported to Hungary where it was further developed in to the Nimrod.
